Concert for Vasculitis Awareness - 7:30 p.m.
Allison Lint, a violinist from Cleveland, Ohio, was diagnosed with a rare auto-immune disorder as a teenager. Now she is on a mission to visit every state in the U.S. to raise awareness of this disorder through music.
Join her with friends and other vasculitis patients for an evening of music by Kreisler, Schumann, Brahms, and Gershwin. Featuring Jeannie Yu, piano. Program selections (subject to slight changes):
Kreisler - Praeludium and Allegro
Schumann - Sonata for Violin and Piano in A minor
Brahms - Trio
Gershwin - Three Preludes
Chaplin - "Smile" from Modern Times
The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary, followed by a Q&A session. The recital is free of charge, though donations will be gratefully accepted.
