Food Pantry

The Food Pantry at First United Methodist Church in Madison, WI is open Monday thru Thursday. We do not limit the number of visits per week or month.

Hours:
Monday and Wednesday, 9:30 a.m. to Noon

Tuesday and Thursday, 5-7 p.m.

Registration:
Our registration is on-site. A photo ID is required along with IDs for all family members and documentation of residence such as a rental agreement or utility bill. Food Pantry closures are announced on the church Calendar of Events page or call 256-4646 ext 26.

Those coming to the Food Pantry are invited to choose food and other needed items from what is available. Diapers and toilet tissue are regularly stocked. The amount of food given out is based on the size of the household. Individuals and families may access the Food Pantry Monday thru Thursday. 

To-Go Meals are provided to people experiencing homelessness. They are served Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to noon while supplies last.

If you are interested in joining our volunteer team, please fill out our Volunteer Interest Form and you will be contacted by our Director of Outreach Ministries.  

If you would like to make donations of food for our food pantry or To-Go Meals, please contact our Director of Outreach Ministries. Our greatest need items this winter are fresh fruit, vegetables, canned tuna, soup and soup mixes.
