Thinking of Joining?

We are all learning what it means to commit to serving the Christ and becoming God’s people in the world. Although membership is not required to be a part of our church community, being a member indicates that you have made a commitment to not only upholding the ministry of First United Methodist Church, but to your own personal spiritual growth and development.

Baptism is a required component of church membership. When an individual decides to the join FUMC, and has previously been baptized, there is no need to be baptized again. Any Christian baptism is recognized by The United Methodist Church. To learn more about the sacrament of baptism, click here.
