Clergy
Keith Schroerlucke is the Lead Pastor. As such, he has a full schedule of pastoral and administrative duties. Nevertheless, finds time to cheer on his beloved Kentucky basketball teams during the season. Luckily, he’s adopted the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers and UW Badger teams to complement his Southern roots.

Rev. Tina Lang is one of the clergy members at First Church. As the Minister of Discipleship, she is responsible for both children’s and adult education opportunities. Tina loves music. She's passionate about social issues. And she practices what she preaches - whether it’s here at First Church, or in Baraboo, where she lives.

Ministry Staff
Ross Cowing makes beautiful music on First Church’s magnificent pipe organ (3400+ pipes!). Ross is our Organist and Choir Accompanist. If you have ever been here on a Sunday morning at around 10:30 and heard applause from within the sanctuary, you’ve just heard how much the congregation appreciates Ross’ talents.

Scott Foss, as our Director of Music, directs more than just the church’s choirs on Sunday morning. If there is a special benefit concert, Scott’s here. If there’s a choir rehearsal, Scott’s here. He orchestrates many events here – most, but not all, of which involve music. (We’ve checked his office but can’t see the cot we suspect he uses!)

Mary Hasheider, Coordinator of Connecting Ministries, makes all sorts of connections! She manages the ‘face’ of the church in the community through her marketing and public relations function, but her real gift is connecting with people – visitors or prospective members, long-time or new members. Mary practices “Radical Hospitality” all day, every day.

Director of Outreach Ministries Susan Jeannette is on the front lines of many of First Church’s highly visible programs: the Food Pantry and the Holiday Meals just to name two. Although much of her job involves food, because there is so much “toting and lifting,” Susan is grateful for all of the physical activity… she claims she doesn’t need to join a gym!

Judy Lyons, Coordinator of Homebound Ministries, should also have “Hugger in Chief” added to her title. She often has folks lined up and waiting for hugs from her on a Sunday morning. Caring ministries is a natural fit for Judy.

Bobbi Reynolds, Coordinator of Food Ministry, loves to cook, and the members of First Church love to eat, so it’s a great fit! Whether it’s the Sunday morning freshly-baked cookies or a full dinner at one of our evening events, she makes Fellowship Hall a happy place for friends to gather. Coordinator of Youth and Young Adult Ministries Seth Schroerlucke is a really awesome dude. Anyway, that’s what the youth in the various youth programs say. Seth is busy keeping the youth busy with ping pong tournaments, lock-ins, and mission trips. Oh, and some serious Sunday morning conversations during the Youth Sunday School time.

Dan Woolpert, Director of the Blessed Brass. This ensemble provides special music once a month during the year…and it really IS special, thanks to Dan’s direction. Dan occasionally even plays, himself!
Ministry Support Staff
Dennis Anderson is our Lead Custodian. He normally works during the week, arriving early, but you’ll often see him here on weekends, too – at weddings, concerts, and community events – lending his helpful hand. (He’s a devoted Packers’ and Brewers’ fan, if you’re looking for a conversation starter.) If you need to reach Dennis, you should call the church office (during office hours).

Administrative Manager Karen Andro is adept at making the office run smoothly. (And she makes it look easy!!) Karen oversees the volunteers in the First Floor Reception office, and is often seen there herself. Karen is an avid year round camper, and is fond of ‘pudgy pies.’

Ron Burrows helps keep the building clean and functioning as our Assistant Custodian. He’s here most weekends and some weekdays. Ron is also a devoted Packers and Brewers’ fan, so luckily, he and Dennis are on the same page, both at work or watching games. Dana Craft is our resident Graphic Designer. Not only does she create beautiful designs for our publications but she is our webmaster, as well. Our Wisconsin winters don’t bother her, because she’s at home on ice – she also teaches figure skating and skates competitively.

Tricia Hillner is our Publications Specialist. Anyone who has ever worked on a deadline will understand how much we appreciate Tricia’s calm manner and pleasant outlook. Beverly McCulloch is First Church’s Financial Assistant and Cheesecake Maker Extraordinaire. (That last part is not actually part of her job title.) Bev does much of the day-to-day account keeping and check writing, in addition to making cheesecakes for any staff birthdays and other special occasions.

Kathie Nichols may serve as First Church’s Business Administrator, but it’s obvious that her interests go far beyond facts and figures. She is a Mentor in the Confirmation program, as well as a regular leader on the annual youth Appalachia Mission Trip.

Max & Laura Wendt, Digital Arts Specialists, are a team in more ways than one. They design and create the visual images we all enjoy during worship. They generally work "off site." They are parents of two young daughters who are also very creative and energetic!
